12 Vital Principles
- Listen to your body – the voice of self-sabotage and that of the perfectionist
- Drink 8-12 glasses of filtered water daily
- Minimise sugar (think of it like champagne, to be enjoyed on rare occasions)
- Forget calories and scales.
- Avoid foods that upset you.
- Good hygiene (food & body) is important
- Do not eat if stressed
- Buy natural foods
- Obtain diverse proteins: Chicken, fish, red meat, eggs, grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, LSA.
- Choose breads & spreads wisely (avoid white, processed grains)
- Avoid constipation – eat raw fruit & vegetables daily, whole grains, nuts and seeds
- Minimise saturated & damaged fats.

First 2 weeks: Upon arising drink 2 glasses of water with juice of fresh lemon/lime/orange.
15 minutes later, veggie juice with carrot, celery & parsley
Follow the 12 principles but – no red meat, butter or margarine, dairy
Have salad with lunch & dinner

Next 4 weeks: as above but no chicken
|
|
Last 2 weeks: as for the first 2
|
|
Snacks: Fruit, veggies, nuts, seeds, wholegrain crackers with hummus, avocado or tahini.
|
|
Nutritional supplements : Psyllium, slippery elm, herbs, lecithin, amino acids & other supplements.
|
|
Employs: A system of 4 body types. Thyroid, Gynoid, Android, Lymphatic
|
|
Recommends highly: LSA: Linseed, sunflower, almond meal in the proportion of 3:2:1
|
Linseed: n-3, soluble fibre, minerals, vit E, Lingnans (is a phyto-oestrogen), LNA (EFA)
Sunflower: n-6, linoleic acid (EFA)
Almond: MUFA’s, Fibre, Ca, high in Mg
|
